The following terms of sale apply to whoever accesses or uses the Appalachia Research Direct website and/or places an order through Appalachia Research Direct. By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to and accept all of the following terms:
Affirmative Agreements
By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you understand and affirmatively agree to each of the following:
You understand and affirmatively agree that products purchased through Appalachia Research Direct may NOT and will NOT be exported, resold, or used for the development or manufacture of chemical or biological weapons, controlled drugs, or any purposes outside those permissible under these terms of sale.
You understand and affirmatively agree that all Appalachia Research Direct materials are sold strictly for scientific research and development purposes ONLY, and are not intended for therapeutic, diagnostic, cosmetic, or any other non-research use.
You understand and affirmatively agree that Appalachia Research Direct materials are for purchase only by qualified researchers with the knowledge, judgment, secure storage arrangements, and equipment to safely handle Appalachia Research Direct compounds for their intended research application.
You understand and affirmatively agree that any communications indicating use of Appalachia Research Direct materials for purposes other than scientific research and development may result in refusal of purchase and/or deactivation or deletion of any relevant Appalachia Research Direct account(s).
You understand and affirmatively agree that materials purchased through Appalachia Research Direct could be classified by certain regulatory agencies as unapproved new drugs if sold for the purpose of consumption by or administration to humans. By continuing to access the Appalachia Research Direct website and/or making a purchase, you specifically confirm that you will NOT purchase or use any Appalachia Research Direct product for consumption by yourself or other humans, or for administration to yourself or other humans.
You understand and affirmatively agree that all Appalachia Research Direct materials are sold solely for use in scientific research and development, and are not to be used as food additives, drugs, cosmetics, household chemicals, or in any other inappropriate application.
You understand and affirmatively agree that you are at least 21 years of age and are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
Products — Laboratory Research Use Only
Appalachia Research Direct products are intended solely for laboratory research purposes and, unless otherwise stated, are not to be used for any other purpose, including but not limited to: in vitro diagnostic purposes, use in food, drugs, medical devices, or cosmetics for humans or animals, or for commercial purposes.
The purchaser agrees that Appalachia Research Direct products have not been sterilized or tested by Appalachia Research Direct for safety and efficacy in food, drug, medical device, cosmetic, commercial, or any other use. No products purchased from Appalachia Research Direct shall, unless otherwise stated, be considered to be foods, drugs, medical devices, or cosmetics.
The purchaser expressly represents and warrants that they will properly test, use, and handle any products purchased from Appalachia Research Direct in accordance with the practices of a qualified professional experienced in the relevant field, and in strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
All customers represent and warrant that they are fully aware and knowledgeable about the following:
Government regulations regarding the use of and exposure to all products purchased.
The health and safety hazards associated with handling the products they purchase.
The necessity of adequately warning of health and safety hazards associated with any products.
Appalachia Research Direct reserves the right to limit and/or deny sales to any individual if there is reason to believe misuse will occur.
Sales Are Final — No Returns
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to the research-grade nature of Appalachia Research Direct products, Appalachia Research Direct does not accept returns or exchanges under any circumstances.
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, you must notify Appalachia Research Direct within 48 hours of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and supporting documentation (e.g., photos). Approved claims may result in a replacement or store credit at Appalachia Research Direct's sole discretion. Appalachia Research Direct is not responsible for product degradation resulting from improper storage or handling after delivery.
Shipping — Domestic Only
Appalachia Research Direct ships to addresses within the United States only. We do not offer international shipping at this time.
Shipping timelines provided at checkout are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title pass to the purchaser upon delivery to the carrier. Appalachia Research Direct is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier or circumstances beyond our control.
It is the purchaser's sole responsibility to ensure that the ordered products are legal to receive in their state and locality before placing an order. Appalachia Research Direct will not ship to states where products are known to be prohibited and reserves the right to cancel any order for any reason, including suspected misuse or legal concerns.
Regulatory Compliance
Appalachia Research Direct products are legal in the jurisdictions in which they are manufactured and distributed. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser to verify and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws before placing an order. Appalachia Research Direct will not hold any liability or responsibility for any losses or legal action taken against a purchaser by any government authority.
Payment Terms
PLACING AN ORDER IS A LEGALLY BINDING COMMITMENT TO SUBMIT PAYMENT. All unpaid orders will restrict future orders until resolved. Customers must contact Appalachia Research Direct to restore purchasing ability.
FRAUDULENT PAYMENTS, STOP-PAYMENTS, AND CHARGEBACKS WILL BE REFERRED TO A COLLECTIONS AGENCY. Appalachia Research Direct reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for non-payment or fraudulent transactions.
Images and Descriptions
The purchaser acknowledges that products purchased from Appalachia Research Direct, being solely for research purposes, may differ slightly from sample images and descriptions displayed on the Appalachia Research Direct website. Product listings do not constitute a license to use any product in infringement of any patent.
No Advice
